About PES at UVA

1. The UVA Chapter of PES was restarted in 1970 by Claire Ngo.

2. We are open to all undergraduate disciplines, including students in the schools of Engineering, Nursing, and Architecture.

3. Our chapter has received national recognition for promoting the principles of the Honor Society's Pyramid of Strength.

4. We award scholarships each year to members of Phi Eta Sigma who have contributed to the club in meaningful ways.

5. We host a variety of events throughout the year, including social events, fundraisers, and community service opportunities!

6. Dues are a one-time cost of $60 and get students access to all events hosted by PES, as well as our extensive alumni network.

7. After being inducted, members have the opportunity to apply to join the Executive Board to get more involved!

8. We raise money for various charities throughout the year by selling t-shirts, graduation cords, and other fundraisers around Grounds.

9. Once you join, you are a member for life!
