Welcome to the official site of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society Chapter at the University of Virginia!

We are the largest and oldest honor society for first year academic achievement on Grounds. Each fall, we invite second year students who demonstrated exceptional academic achievement by obtaining a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for their entire first year. They are then inducted into the society in a ceremony held during Family Weekend in the historic Old Cabell Hall on Central Grounds.

***This year's Phi Eta Sigma Induction Ceremony is currently scheduled for November 5th, 2023 at 10:30am and will be held in-person in Old Cabell Hall ***

 

This site is for prospective members and their families to learn more about Phi Eta Sigma at UVA, and should they choose to join, to fill out the necessary forms and submit payment for the one-time dues.
